Workspaces, people and what each role can do
Invite colleagues, assign permission roles, and understand operational security boundaries.
1. What a workspace is
In AdServeKit, a Workspace is the boundary of data ownership. Websites, placements, campaigns, creatives, invoices, and analytics belong to a workspace, not to an individual user login.
You can invite colleagues and external partners into your workspace while controlling their permissions through role-based access.
2. The four workspace roles
- Owner: Complete control over all resources, team memberships, billing profiles, and workspace deletion.
- Manager: Can manage websites, placements, campaigns, creatives, invoices, and marketplace listings. Can invite team members if granted permission.
- Editor: Can create and edit campaigns, build creatives, and manage marketplace listings. Cannot modify domain verification, security settings, or billing profiles.
- Analyst: Read-only access to campaign analytics, website metrics, and billing summaries. Cannot create, edit, or delete resources.
3. Inviting team members
Navigate to Settings → Workspace & Team and click Invite team member.
Enter their email address, select their role (Manager, Editor, or Analyst), and click Send Invitation.
The invitee receives an activation email with a single-use token to join your workspace.
4. Removing members and ownership safety
Owners and Managers can remove members at any time. When removed, the user loses immediate access to the workspace.
Resources created by a team member (campaigns, creatives, placements) belong permanently to the workspace and continue operating without interruption.
