List your website or channel on the marketplace
publisherImport verified web and social properties, build a public profile, and publish ad spaces for sale.
1. What you can list on the marketplace
The AdServeKit Marketplace allows publishers to sell advertising inventory directly to advertisers. You can list:
- Websites that have completed domain verification in your dashboard.
- Social profiles authenticated via platform OAuth: YouTube channels, Facebook Pages, Instagram Professional accounts, and TikTok accounts.
You cannot list a property by simply pasting its URL. Every property must prove ownership. This requirement protects the integrity of the marketplace and ensures buyers trust your audience figures.
2. Build your publisher profile
Your publisher profile is what prospective advertisers review before inquiring.
Navigate to Marketplace → Manage → Properties and select your verified property.
Complete your profile details:
- Display Name: Brand name of your publication or channel.
- Category: Primary niche (Sports, Technology, Finance, Gaming, Lifestyle).
- Editorial Description: Describe your content, audience interests, and why advertisers should partner with you.
- Primary Audience Geography & Language: Specify primary reader locations.
Audience metrics (Search Console clicks, site pageviews, social subscriber counts) are imported automatically and displayed with verified source badges.
3. Create ad space listings and rate cards
An ad space listing represents a specific commercial opportunity advertisers can buy on the marketplace.
Under your property, click Add Listing and configure your rate card:
- Title: Clear descriptive title (e.g. Header Leaderboard 728x90, In-Article Rectangle, Dedicated YouTube Video Sponsor).
- Format & Placement Location: Dimensions and location on your page.
- Pricing Model: Choose Fixed Price (flat fee for a set duration), CPM (price per 1,000 impressions), Impression Package (fixed price for a bundle of impressions), or Contact for Pricing.
- Minimum Order & Expected Delivery: Specify minimum order units and estimated monthly impressions.
Click Publish Listing to make the ad space visible on the public marketplace.
4. Managing inquiries and connecting campaigns
When an advertiser contacts you, an alert appears under Marketplace → Messages. Each conversation thread is tied directly to the listing the buyer inquired about.
Use the message thread to discuss campaign flight dates, creative requirements, and final pricing.
When terms are agreed, request the advertiser's Campaign Connection Code (CMP-...).
Navigate to Campaigns → Connected campaigns → Connect, paste the code, select your target website and placement, and click Accept. Delivery begins automatically according to the campaign schedule.
5. Invoicing advertisers and recording payments
When payment is due, open Billing → Invoices and click New invoice.
Select your billing profile and advertiser customer record, add your agreed campaign fee line items, and click Issue Invoice.
Click Send Invoice to email the customer a private review link (/invoice/[token]), or download the PDF and email it directly.
Once the advertiser transfers payment to your bank or PayPal account, open the invoice and click Record Payment to settle the ledger. For more details on the commercial settlement workflow, see Billing.
6. What happens if a connection expires
If a domain verification lapses or a social OAuth token expires, your property status changes to Reconnect Required and associated marketplace listings are automatically Paused to protect buyers.
Nothing is deleted. Simply re-verify the domain or reconnect the social account, and your listings return to Active status immediately with their historical records preserved.
