Connecting YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
publisherProve you own a channel or page, understand verification requirements, and handle token expirations.
1. Why connect social accounts
Connecting social media properties allows you to list sponsored integrations, video sponsorships, and social posts on the Marketplace.
AdServeKit requires authenticated OAuth connection for all social listings. We do not permit listing properties via pasted URLs. This ensures advertisers know they are negotiating with verified channel owners.
2. YouTube channel connection
Navigate to Marketplace → Manage → Properties and click Connect property → YouTube.
Sign in with your Google account and grant read-only YouTube access. If your channel belongs to a Brand Account, select that account on Google's chooser.
Select your channel and click Add to marketplace. Lifetime subscribers, total video count, and lifetime views are imported automatically.
3. Facebook Pages
Click Connect property → Facebook and log in with your Facebook account.
Select the managed Facebook Page(s) you wish to list. You must hold Page Admin or Manager permissions.
Page name, category, and lifetime follower metrics will be imported.
4. Instagram Professional accounts
Your Instagram account must be configured as a Professional (Creator or Business) Account.
Connect via Facebook Login or Instagram Login Kit to authorize read-only profile access.
5. TikTok profiles
Click Connect property → TikTok and authorize read-only access via TikTok Login Kit.
Display name, handle, lifetime followers, and total likes will be imported.
6. Verification badges vs. lifetime statistics
Verification Badges: Confirm that control of the account was proven via platform OAuth. A badge indicates identity verification, not a quality endorsement.
Lifetime Figures: Follower counts and video views are lifetime cumulative totals, clearly labelled as such so advertisers understand your overall reach.
7. Reconnecting lapsed social tokens
If an OAuth token expires or permissions are revoked, the property status updates to Reconnect Required and marketplace listings are automatically Paused.
To restore listings, navigate to Marketplace → Manage → Properties, click Reconnect, and re-authenticate. Your listings will return to Active status immediately.
