Archiving, deleting, and closing your account

The difference between archiving and deleting, dependency blockers, and the 30-day workspace recovery window.

1. Archiving vs. deleting

Archiving (Recommended): Ceases delivery immediately and hides items from active lists, while preserving historical delivery, click, spend, and invoice records for reporting.

Deleting (Permanent): Permanently removes resources from your workspace, subject to dependency safety checks.

2. Deletion blockers and resolution

The platform blocks deletion when active dependencies exist:

- Websites with active placements or marketplace listings: Archive child placements and remove marketplace listings first.

- Placements linked to active Campaign Connections: Revoke or complete the connection first.

- Active campaigns: Pause or complete the campaign before archiving.

- Customers with unpaid issued invoices: Settle or void invoices before deleting customer records.

3. Closing a workspace (30-day grace period)

Only the Workspace Owner can request workspace closure under Settings → Danger Zone.

Closing a workspace initiates a 30-day soft-delete grace period during which all ad delivery stops. Contact support within 30 days to restore the workspace. After 30 days, uploaded media and creative documents are permanently erased.
